New items will be continually added to Build A Plane's special e-Bay auction site throughout the holiday season. Proceeds from the auction go to support Build A Plane's aviation education activities across the United States.
"This is a great way to support kids getting more exposure to aviation," says Build A Plane President and Founder, Lyn Freeman. "Build A Plane has placed more than 200 aircraft projects in schools across the United States to give kids a chance to learn by building real airplanes. It's fund raising activities like this that enable us to do what we do."
Build A Plane is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that solicits aircraft donations, and then redirects those airplanes to high schools and youth groups across the country at no charge.
