the first weekend in June with a variety of Alabama aviation events across the
state. A special event at the Southern Museum of Flight this Saturday, June1 at
11 am. is a talk by Col. Frank Murray, one of three
living operational pilots who flew the A-12 Blackbird in the
CIA "Oxcart" program. He will do a presentation,
answer questions and conduct a walk around tour of the Museum's A-12,
Article 131. Light appetizers, $5 Donation.

Two special Fly Ins on Saturday in the southern half of the state at Lanett and St. Elmo airports. The Saint Elmo EAA 1209 Spring Fly In kicks off at 7:00 am. until noon. Come out to the Airport - 2R5, for their annual spring fly-in! Donations at breakfast help fund the chapter to support events throughout the year. The weather is warming up so it's time to get out and fly! There will be several airplanes on display and rides will be offered. FMI: FACEBOOK
Come the Lanett Municipal Airport at 9:00am EST for a Fly-In, Saturday, June 1st. Enjoy a $2 -"All You Can Eat" Pancake Breakfast with sausage, bacon, coffee and juice.
