Ralph Hood to Spread Word About Aviation History

The Tennessee Aviation Hall of Fame has engaged the nationally renowned aviation speaker, humorist and writer, Ralph Hood, CSP, as part of a statewide effort to raise awareness of Tennessee's extraordinary aviation history and those who have contributed to it. His first appearance will be at the Smyrna Rotary Club at Noon, April 25th, where the Tennessee Aviation Hall of Fame will also début its 2013 Class of Honorees scheduled for induction at its 12th Annual Gala and Inductions Ceremony. The formal event will take place at the Embassy Suites Convention Center in Murfreesboro on November 9th.

TAHF Board Chairman John Black, the Executive Director of the Smyrna Rutherford County Airport Authority, said - "We are very happy and excited about having Ralph Hood help spread the word about Tennessee's aviation history and about our state's Official Aviation Hall of Fame and we are planning to make him available for other presentations across the state. "Since its inaugural enshrinements event in 2002, the Tennessee Aviation Hall of Fame has honored 45 men and women who have made extraordinary and enduring contributions to aviation and aerospace through achievements or service for Tennessee, our nation or the world. The TAHF Hall of Honors is located inside the Tennessee Museum of Aviation in Sevierville.
