Birmingham Museum of Flight will host the awe inspiring and highly acclaimed Red Tail Squadron's Rise Above -Traveling
Exhibit, opening Tuesday March 5 through March 7 from 9:00am to 5:00pm. It
is a perfect activity for families looking for a FREE, inspiring, and
educational experience.
"The overall message is about rising above adversity to reach your potential no matter your circumstances. The exhibit is truly a one-of-a-kind adventure similar to something you might experience at Disneyland. This is an experience you won't want to miss," says Brad Lang of the CAF Red Tail Squadron.

Join us in Gulf Shores to celebrate St Patrick's Day on Saturday the 16th at the March Fly-In for The Lucky Leprechaun St. Patty's Day Fly-In Celebration! All the Ferguson Air Services folk are looking forward to experiencing the luck of the Irish, Saturday March 16th and would like everyone to join us! They will be having Sheppard's Pie, Irish stew, Soda Breads, Shamrock Corn Bread, Boxty (Irish potato Pancake) and of course sweet goodies. Now the sweet goodie part, Mamma's Irish Grasshopper Pie, Mrs. Karen's Lemon Bars of Deliciousness, Michelle's irresistible Lemon Blueberry Trifle and her own peppermint patty brownies, I feel lucky already!
A Family Day Benefit at the Cullman Airport features a 5k,10K Race and a 1 mile fun walk along with kid's inflatables. Airplane rides are available. Register early for a T-shirt. March 19th in Birmingham and 21th in Huntsville, AOPA is having a new Chart Challenge Seminar. Charts are one of the most fundamental parts of flying-but they can also be challenging to interpret, difficult to read, and sometimes head-scratchingly confusing. The AOPA new live seminar is meant to help you master them. We'll quiz you on everything from VFR sectionals to instrument approach plates, and dig into the practical issues that come with them. Starts at 7:00pm til 9:00pm.
