Adams, Davis, Gary to be Inducted into 2012 ICAS Hall of Fame

The ICAS Foundation has announced the names of the newest air show legends to be inducted into the prestigious ICAS Foundation Air Show Hall of Fame. Bill Adams, Bob Davis and Debbie Gary will be recognized during the Chairman's Banquet on Thursday, December 13 at the conclusion of the 2012 ICAS Convention in Las Vegas.

A Wisconsin native and air show performer during the 1950s and 1960s, Bill Adams was recognized as one of the top Stearman pilots of his generation in addition to being a successful aerobatic competitor, military aviator and airline pilot.

Bob Davis has been a popular and well-respected air show pilot for more than 30 years, best known for his performances in the Sukhoi 29.

Debbie Gary began her trailblazing career as a female air show performer in 1972, eventually becoming the first woman in the world to lead a formation aerobatic team.

Adams, Davis and Gary join 50 other Hall of Fame inductees, including Bob Hoover, Jimmy Franklin, Art Scholl, Duane Cole, Charlie Hillard, Cliff Henderson, Leo Loudenslager and Curtis Pitts. -The International Council of Air Shows
