EVERGREEN AL- At last, a great weather forecast
for this weekend's 22nd Annual South East Regional Fly In- a SERFI
tradition. Weekend camping under the
pines with or without full hook ups is a first come- first serve. Pack up and
head out to Middleton Field in Evergreen, Alabama. RV Campground opens on
Wednesday. Tough guys can camp under wing with lots of hot water and showers
for a weekend of outdoor fun. This year SERFI volunteers along with the City of
Evergreen made upgrades to the shower and camping area for your enjoyment.
SERFI is a beautiful family setting perfect for fall camping.

-SERFI official aircraft judging-
Fly your pride and joy to SERFI and enter official EAA style judging standards
for a Class Trophy, Grand Champion award or Best of Show. Aircraft judging entry deadline is 2PM on
Saturday afternoon with awards announced at the Saturday evening Spaghetti Dinner in the Big Red
Hangar. Pensacola Civil Air Patrol will be on hand to aid aircraft parking.
SERFI officially opens on Friday, October 25th at 7:00am. Delicious food is available for the entire
weekend. EAA volunteers will host Young Eagle rides on Saturday and the Fly
Market will be open 8-5 also on Saturday. A special flight simulator, on site, will
thrill the little ones.

A variety of hourly seminars for aircraft owners will start on Saturday at 9:00am through 5:00pm. Topics by the experts include: Prop Care, Rotax, Owner Maintenance and more. Be sure to check the fact filled SERFI website to find the answer to all your questions AND the always important ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE procedures. You can also find a time saving AC pre-registration form to speed your check in.
