Exciting Alabama Aviation Fall Event Choices

 

 October kicks off with an Air Safety Institute Weather Seminar in Huntsville on Tuesday at 7:00p. Also in Huntsville, on Saturday, is a repeat of the highly successful Wings Flight Safety weekend at the HSV International airport from 7:00am to 5:00pm. Rent or bring your plane and fly with volunteer flight instructors to fulfill your Wings Flight Proficiency. Select from 9 topics and listen to experts while earning FAASTeam Wings credit. Browse exhibits and enjoy many great features of the day including a discount Bar B Q lunch.

Simultaneously on Saturday, the 5^th, the Lake Guntersville Splash In will be held on October 5 at the Guntersville Civitan Park Saturday from 10-6 with a Sunday brunch on Lake Weiss.  Fuel is available at the airport and a shuttle for wheel plane pilots to the Splash In. Enjoy fun, music and partners, the Georgia Mountain Volunteer Fire Department,
for "Smoke on the Water- Bar-B-Q Cook-Off Competition". Awesome food is available.
