Time to Air Race

RENO National Air Race Championship NV- Competitors are gathering and submitting their airplanes to technicians for safety and mechanical inspections at Stead Field in Reno today. When passed, time trials begin vying for position and qualifying for the heats. The Championships begin September 11-15.

For the 10^th year, Jasper, Alabama's, Sanders Race Team is going for the Gold at the Reno Air Race Championship - the 50^th Anniversary. "Gordo" Sander's ride, Big Red T-6  #5 passed inspection, repaired a minor mechanical and took to the air.
