ENTERPRISE AL - According to reports Warbirds, helicopters, jet powered flight and beautifully detailed radio controlled models dominated the skies over the Enterprise Aviation Expo Saturday. A CAVU perfect spring day welcomed several thousand visitors to the 2013 Expo sponsored by DynCorp and the City of Enterprise.
The 4th Annual event featured helicopter and fixed wing static displays by Alabama State Troopers, and the Sheriff's Departments of Coffee, Dale and Henry Counties. Several re-enactment groups displayed uniforms and vehicles from World War II and Viet Nam.

In addition to Huey helicopter rides, the local Experimental Aviation Association chapter registered youngsters for the Young Eagles program. Even more "mature" eagles got into the air when event host Mayor Kenneth Boswell took his first military jet flight in the L-39. After several high speed passes, near vertical climbs and a barrel roll, and enthusiastic Mayor Boswell, "What a great flight...the visibility was tremendous....did you see that barrel roll?"
