Fort Walton Beach, FL- Tom Casey, the business manager for the famed Doolittle Raiders, announced that the Doolittle Raiders 71st Anniversary Reunion, April 17 through 20, in Fort Walton Beach, FL, will be the last public reunion of these World War II heroes. "The Raiders have always considered Fort Walton Beach to be their second home, and they're honored that Beach Community Bank and the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce have organized a full schedule of events for the Reunion weekend, April 17 through 20," said Casey.
Highlights of the Reunion agenda include the dedication of a Doolittle Raider Museum at Northwest Florida State College, a press conference and autograph session at the Air Force Armament Museum, along with two public luncheons, April 18 and 19, and a culminating parade and a "Victory Celebration" dinner on April 20.
