The group from Gadsden State Community College submitted
their plan to NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville involving an
automated experiment which could be carried into orbit on the International
Space Station. In April, the group will get a chance to test their proposal on
a series of parabolic flights on a DC-9, the Vomit Comet, to simulate a
weightless atmosphere.
In May, the group will begin an internship with the Jet
Propulsion Laboratory to work out their automated experiment. The experiment
could be sent to the space station in
September. Click for more info
