Madison County Executive Flight Center-MDQ in Meridianville announces a new Private Pilot Ground School will begin on July 10 at 6pm. Classes will be held each Tuesday evening from 6 - 9 pm beginning on July 10 for twelve weeks. Sessions are at Madison County Executive Airport in the Executive Flight Center classroom.
This excellent course will teach you about becoming a Private Pilot as well as prepare you for the Private Pilot Oral and Written exams. The highly-regarded Jeppesen Guided Flight Discovery syllabus is used in this course with Steve Riccio instructing. Tuition and all required materials cost is $425. Whether you have started your flight training or want to check out ground school to see what it's all about, this course is for you.

Come check out our latest addition to the fleet, a 2001 Cessna 182! MDQ recently added a 2001 Cessna 182 (stiff-leg model) N3552D to our rental fleet. This aircraft features the King KLN94 approach-certified GPS with multi-function display, is great for cross country flights and is a nice step-up from the 172s. Requirements are 100 hours total time, high performance endorsement, 3 hours make and model, and a checkout with one of our CFIs. The 182 gives you greater load-carrying capacity and more speed than the 172, plus the opportunity to train for and earn the high performance endorsement. Rental rate is $159 per Hobbs hour wet.
