MAXWELL AFB AL- The Gathering of Eagles week is an annual capstone event for Air Command and Staff College. The Eagles, notable air, space or cyberspace pioneers, will share their living histories and lessons learned with Air Command and Staff College students.
This year's 31st Annual Eagles event include WWII, Vietnam, Korea, Desert Storm and Enduring Freedom veterans and prisoners of war, as well as a Woman Airforce Service Pilot, a Tuskegee Airman, one of the last five surviving Doolittle Raiders, the Berlin Airlift "Candy Bomber" and a Medal of Honor recipient.
From Wednesday through Saturday, a full schedule of events is highlighted with the insight and motivation the Eagles leadership provide to students through personal interviews, experiences and interaction.
