-CLANTON AL- The results for CyberPatriot Competition round two are out and Civil Air Patrol cadets of Chilton County Composite Squadron members qualify to advance to round three in January. The Team tied with seven other teams for 4th place. One group found 26 of the 30 security issues, two teams found 25 of 30 and seven teams found 24 of 30. This round was more difficult than the first and the next round will step it up quite a bit more.
Round three will be held January 14th and the top 12 teams will continue on to compete at the National finals March 22-23 in National Harbor, Maryland.

Civil Air Patrol, the official auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force, is a nonprofit organization with more than 61,000 members nationwide. CAP performs 90 percent of continental U.S. inland search and rescue missions as tasked by the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center and was credited with saving 113 lives in fiscal year 2010. Its volunteers also perform homeland security, disaster relief and counter‐drug missions at the request of federal, state and local agencies. The members play a leading role in aerospace education and serve as mentors to the nearly 26,000 young people currently participating in CAP cadet programs.
